RESEARCH CHAMBER AT LAHTI UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES UPGRADED
A research chamber, delivered by Jartek during year 2002, was upgraded by Jartek to provide similar features and control of process as recent industrial chamber deliveries, and, moved to new location when Lahti University of Applied Sciences ( LAMK ) moved to former furniture factory of Isku Oy on the second half of year 2018. This chamber is used for educational purposes during wood drying and thermal modification courses to run processes with different wood species. Also research projects between Jartek and LAMK generate another important task for this chamber. Cooperation between parties is frequent and as result several student project work as well as thesis work has been generated.
