| Jartek participates several seminars in Russia as the leader company of Finnish wood cluster |

Jartek participates several seminars in Russia this year. Since the
beginning of its operation in 2010, Finnish wood cluster has organized two
seminars in Russia. The next seminar will be held in September in
Krasnoyarsk in associated with the trade fair “TekhnoDrev
Siberia 2011”. Cluster will also be present with its own stand, B-403
in hall 2. This year’s third and final seminar will be held in October in
Syktyvkar.
Wood cluster has been set up within the project EVP – developing business
potential in Lahti region, and is coordinated by Lahti Science and Business
Park. Cluster consists of Finnish companies, specialized in delivering
equipment, equipment complexes and services of mechanical wood processing.
Cluster is an unique chain of cooperation, as it combines the suppliers of
wood processing technology into one production chain – from log handling to
solid wood working and delivery of prefabricated timber house frames. The
cooperation of the cluster companies will create customer subservient
synergy efficiency within the cluster and enables to offer more wide-range
assortment due to joint deliveries.
Jartek is operating as a leader company of the wood cluster. Other
participating companies are: Kesla Oyj (Joensuu), Inray Oy (Mikkeli), Pronor Control Oy(Lahti), Select Systems Oy
(Hollola), Pinomatic Oy (Kauhajoki)
and Makron
Engineering Oy (Lahti).
