Jartek Oy's business operations are devided into two core area, which are
timber grading and packing lines of sawmills as well as further processing
production plants (former Jartek Mekano Oy), timber drying kilns and
thermal modification plants (former Jartek Termo Oy).
Saw Mill Equipment
The saw mill equipment technology is based on the long traditions of Järme
Oy in this field.
The technical solutions are developed to fulfil the needs of most
demanding customers. The basic design parameters are reliability, high
speed and best possible productivity. On the reference list are all the
biggest players in this field in Finland as Finnforest, Stora Enso,
UPM-Kymmene, Versowood etc.
Timber Drying Kilns
The development of timber drying technology has been started already in
1957, when the forefather of the Jartek Termo, Sateko Oy was established.
The present variety of different drying technologies includes both high
capacity progressive kilns and large range of chamber kilns of different
sizes.
Engineered wood technology
The core of the engineered wood technology is the first-stage further
processing lines and equipments. In the beginning of 2006 Junotec Oy was
merged to Jartek's further processing business operations. Junotec Oy is
well-known supplier of further processing technology in Finland. Jartek's
own production consist of specialized pressing solutions developed
originally by Järme Oy. In addition, we are representative of SMB finger
jointing lines and OEST glue applicators.
Thermal Modification of Wood
With the brand name Tekmaheat has been developed a new technology to
improve wood properties e.g. the stability and decay resistance. The
thermal modification technology of Tekmaheat is presently the market leader
in its field with over 15 deliveries all over the world.
